#value! dividing cell error

Can someone help me on figuring out why i cannot divide the value of one cell
with another? I keep getting a #value! error message, I can't do any
divisions on my new spreadsheets, my old have the same formulas and they work
but if i try to add a division in another cell if gives me the same #value!
error. I thought there might be just a setting that i'm overlooking???

I put numbers in other cells and tried to divide, still didn't work, I even
opened up my old spreadsheets and tried to put in a new formula and that
didn't work, i thought that it might be a setting???

Awfully sorry, but I did not receive anotification that you responded!

Do you get an error as a result, do you see your formula in the cell, or is
it just blank?

Which version of Excel are you using?
