Vanished email

Renee

I spent 2 hours writing a business email, and heard a new email arrive. It
had an xls attachment, which froze when I tried to open it. My whole OUTLOOK
froze as well and automatically closed when I tried to just end the xls file
which was not responding.

Upon reopening OUTLOOK, I can't find the long email I was writing
anywhere...not in draft, sent, inbox, or other folders I have. Where is it??

I had started this email a couple of times, which is significant only
because of this. In my delete fine, there was an email with the first 2
sentences of my email, and nothing else. I'm not sure, but it "could" be the
first 2 sentences of the email I was writing. Again, I wrote for 2
hours....so if this is it, what happened?

I do have my settings to automatically save emails after 2-3 minutes, so
this is why I feel the whole email I was working on should be somewhere. I
did not have anyone in the TO: line or the Subject line. I have done a .pst
file search for today, but did not get any emails from that.

I am currently using OFFICE 2007 Trial Version on an XP computer.

Thanks for the help.
