vanishing footnotes

When importing Word XP (and any other Word) files into Publisher XP all
FOOTNOTES VANISH! Anybody could help? It is possible that Microsoft
applications are so hopelessly incompatible?!

Will an HP printer print animations made on an HP notebook?

It is not an incompatibility, it is just that the printer doesn't support
the features. Similarly, Publisher doesn't yet have footnote functionality,
and hence does not import footnotes from Word documents.

That would be cool! I've heard that some drugs can make you *think* you're
seeing them move. Since I have a somewhat basic HP printer, I don't think
I'll try it.
