Using Access 2K (SP3) on WinXP(SP2) connected to SQL2K(SP3) on Win2K(SP4)
Problem: Long text values (datatype is varchar(7500)) are not displaying
correctly in bound forms or reports text boxes. They seem to be
truncated/garbled at about 4000 characters. They do display correctly in both
a VB 6.0 application and a Crystal Report, so the problem would seem to be in
Access. I've found one KB article regarding varchar problems, but it was
fixed (supposedly) in Office SP1.
Records are inserted from an unbound form using VBA ADO command with
parameters to execute a stored procedure with input parameters, but that
shouldn't be the problem as the data is OK in VB and Crystal.
I've also tried the adp in our Citrix environment (Citrix Xp on Win2K) but
there was no difference.
Any ideas? Thanks
