Various add-ins

This depends on the add-in and what exactly it does. I am not familiar
with the add-in to which you are referring. The add-in itself will never
show up on someone else's computer (unless they install it). However,
many add-ins change settings in PowerPoint or in a PowerPoint file. If
they are changing the settings in a file, those changes should go with
the file. For example, I could write an add-in to change the color of
every shape in a presentation to something that the user selects. This
add-in would be a utility that changes the PowerPoint file, and these
changes would be in effect on any computer.

I presumed the add-in application itself would not follow
the ppt file.
I was referring directly to black and white settings,
mainly because this affects printing in black and white.

But if I undersatnd your answer correctly "most" changes
made to ppt file via add-ins will follow the file and
will display properly. Given limitations of the version
of ppt one may have.

yes?
