VB 6 Code Autocomplete or Intellisense

H

Hallucination

I am using VB6 and when entering code after a period (.), a dialog box pops
up with suggested or available properties for the object I'm using. Is there
a way other than using the mouse to select the snippet I want? Like a
keyboard shortcut or similar?

If you are using VB or VBA then there are several methods you can use.
Once the item is selected then press your spacebar or tab to complete
the entry.

You can also type the next character after the selection as well. For
example if you are changing the Text property for a control called
"TextBox1" then you could something like (without the quotes):
"textbox1.te" then press the equals sign (=). This will add the equals
sign and complete the Text property.

Also note, if you have VB6 questions then you're likely to get a
faster response if you post in one of the VB6 newsgroups since this
one is where primarily Office users hang out. :)
