Is there a way for me, using the sendobject command, to send an email to a
"group" using lotus notes?

Yes, just put the group name in the "to" field. Lotus will substitute the
individuals from the address book who are in the group.

Just put the name of the group in the "to" field. Lotus Notes will resolve
the names in the group.
