VBA Functions/Macros to AppleScript

I have a number of documents (mostly Excel spreadsheets and Word docs) that contain VBA functions and macros. At the moment I'm forced to open and use them on a Windows machine because Office 2008 won't use them.

Time and again I've checked back here to look for migration tools to change them over. There are none, however.

Is this going to change? Or is VBA on Macs a dead issue that will never be addressed?

BTW I do not have Office 2004 so I cannot use that as a migration path. I'm stuck with the Windows version or nothing.

Nope, there is no migration path or tools, nor will there likely be any.
But, VBA will be retuning in the next version of Office for the Mac.
