Hi all,

I'm very new in VBA and need your help.

I have created a combo box with 3 item A, B and C.
If the user select A or B, they do not need to fill up another textbox
however if the select C, this textbox must not be Null.

How to do that?

You can write in your form's beforeupdate event:

if me.MyCombo="C" and isnull(me.mytextbox) then
msgbox "You have to enter something into mytextbox!"
cancel=true
end if
