VbaProject.omt Trouble

B

Bob Austin

Help. I've developed some Outlook VB code (Thanks, Sue M.) but I some lost
the connection between Outlook and the VbaProject.omt file. I've followed
the instructions in the MS-KB article, but to no avail. Any ideas on how to
rescue my code?

Thanks!
Bob

I hope you have a good backup of all your modules. You can try renaming VbaProject.otm to something else, then letting Outlook start and create a new VbaProject.otm file. Then run VBA and see if you can open the renamed one with File | Open Project.

Sue, I was just about to write that I had found similar responses in the
google group search of .program_vba (which I just found). I see it's pretty
bleak.

When I go thru Outlook, VB doesn't have a File/Open project option. Is there
a way to open VBA outside of the Office applications (with Off pro)?

Thanks for the feedback. I've learned a lot from you and Ken very quickly.
