venetianblind effect...

what now?

Hi All,

I am looking to find an effect that with each page turn would provide an
effect similar to blinds opening and closing. Is anyone aware of a paid or
free file for this for FrontPage 2003? If so, could you please let me know?

Thanks,
Sam

The only thing you can use is the Page Transition effect. There is a
horizontal and vertical blind effect for them. You can get to them under the
formatting menu. This effect will only work in IE though, and be carefeul
because a lot of user's don't like them so you may watch user response to
see if you need to remove them after you get them up.

Hope this helps,

Sam,

Add this to between the <head> and </head> tags on your page:

<meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Blinds(Duration=4)">

what now?

Hi All,

Thanks very much for the fast and great responses. The blind effect was for
a friend who has a vertical blind cleaning company and he wanted an effect.
In the process of looking for him, I found an effect for my site that I
changed the transition time and seems to look nice. I realize though that it
is workable in Explorer only, but that is okay. If you are interested in
seeing the site that I have built in FrontPage, please feel free to offer
your comments.

Regards,
Sam
