Verifyed and rebuilt database and not Entourage 2008 can't access database

I was attempting to send an email to about 100 folks.

The email would not go and I received a message to close Entourage, restart
it and try again that if that did not work I should rebuild my database.

Well, I tried to restart a couple of times with no luck so I verified and
then re-built my database.

When I tried to start Entourage back up I got a message that "Entourage
cannot access your data. to attempt to fix the problem rebuild your data
base.

I have tried to hold the shift key down while I boot Entourage but I can to
get to the point where I can even choose another identity.

I have a Mac Book Pro with 4 gigs
OSX 10.5.6
Office 2008 Expression Media package.

I have run the latest Office updates

My mail is a mix of POP, and IMAP accounts.

I have a large contact and calendar files.

Your wisdom would be appreciated!

Well,
Never mind...

What I did was to re-build the data base again.
I did a repair of my disk permissions and re-booted.

It seems to be working OK now.
