Where on my PC do I find what version of excel I am using? 03 or 07 or
what.

In excel>help>about

In Excel, go to the Help menu and choose "About Microsoft Excel". This
will display the version and any installed service packs.

In xl2007, you'll see a ribbon (a dead give away).

But then Office button|excel options|resources
(near the bottom of that resources section)
