Vertical Ruler

I have my Vertical Ruler enabled in "Options - VIew Tab" in the "Tools" menu
but I still can not see the vertical ruler - Word 2003

Please help

The vertical ruler shows up only in Print Layout View and Print Preview. If
you're in Normal, Web, Outline, or Reading Layout view, the vertical ruler
will not show up.
