Vertical text

How do I make text vertical instead of horizontal. I tried using a vertical
label that appears to allow only the first letter on top not on bottom, as if
you wanted it along te left hand side of the page instead of the right.

The vertical text is very limited. It only works in a single direction. It is not an InfoPath feature, but rather an Internet Explorer feature. Thus it is restricted to what the browser can do.
