Very annoying behavior

I recently installes MS Office on my computer. XP SP3.

Each time I open Excel, it keeps installing some component. Does'nt tell
what it is. This takes several minutes and is very annoying. It's hapenning
all the time.

Is Excel not intelligent enough to remember it has already installed it,
whatever that is.

Any clue?

Excel is probably intelligent enough, but windows may not be. You have asked
this question in a Macintosh forum. I suggest you repost it to a Windows
Excel forum.
