VERY SLOW: Opening and Saving Projects on ProjectServer

Hi

Our projectserver is painfully slow:

A simple project with one task!!! and no resources defined
takes 1min42sec to Save and 52 Sec to open


anyone had similar problems ?

Config:
PSRV2002; Ms Project Pro 2002, SQL Server over 6.5

Are you running Novell at all?

We were experincing something similiar and the problem was
caused by the Novell client software.

We were running mostly NT file servers, but also had one
Novell server.
When we deleted the Novell client from our PCs and used a
Microsoft client instead, things started flying.
