Very slow startup of Microsoft Office 2007 programs

Whenever I open any Microsoft Office 2007 Program I get the startup of each
program in this order, except for OneNote.

1. Preparing to install (~ 10 seconds)
2. Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 (~30
seconds)
3. Configuring Microsoft Office Ultmate 2007 (~1-4 minutes)

My hardware should be capable of starting this up instantly, since I've
tested it on my desktop with lower specs to see if it was a program problem
or a problem with my laptop.

My laptop is less than 3 months old (dell xps m1530) running on dual 2.1GHz
Intel Duo CPU, 4.00GB of RAM, and Windows Vista 32bit home premium SP1.

Anyone have solutions to make my office programs start up instantly, or
near-instant?

I ran this potential fix, and it didn't make the startup time any better. Any
other suggestions?

Then I suspect the issue is your Vista security. Disable UAC, and run
the program as Admin once to allow the configuration to be recorded.
(This presumes you don't have bit and pieces of a previous Office
installation remaining)

Did you ever find a solution for this? Am having exactly the sam
problem and nothing has done the trick
