Video Acceleration Issues With Powerpoint

I am trying to turn down the Video Acceleration settings in Windows Vista.

When you present video in Powerpoint it will only display video on the
primary screen. not the Secondary screen. Under Windows XP, you simply could
go to the Advanced section of the Display Properties then Troubleshoot where
you could turn the Video Acceletration down half way and the problem would be
solved. Under Vista that same option is greyed out.

We have a number of laptops and it seems to be a random thing with drivers.
ATI cards work no problem. NVIDIA depends on the model. A Gefore Go 7300
Laptop card, no problem. Same Driver set on GeForce 9500 GS Laptop card and
it doesn't work. All setup with the default settings.

Is there anyway to by-pass that greyed out option? Its greyed out even
before the graphics drivers are installed.

Unfortunately it is really up to the video card / driver supplier. Many no
longer support this feature.

Thanks, is there a plugin or anthing that can force powerpoint to over ride
this clitch?

We do a lot of work for major conference centres here in Melbourne,
Australia and without that feature they wont go accross to Vista
