Video file into FrontPage 2000

Charles

I copied a VHS video clip using Pinnacle to a PC with Windows XP using the Windows Media Player format. I sent the file via email to my other PC that has FrontPage 2000, where I manage my website. When downloaded it went into the AOL Download file. It is represented with the Windows Flag Icon and the file name. I have fruitlessly tried to insert it into my draft webpage in FrontPage but all I get is a little box with an "x" in it. Can I save the dowloaded file in another format for insertion. If so, how? A major problem is I don't know just how a video file should appear on the draft page after it is insrted. Can anyone give me step-by-step instructions or direct me to a source that might help me solve my problem? Thanks.
