Video file won´t play in Powerpoint 2000

Borries

Hi,
for the first time ever, I am trying to play a video file on a
Powerpoint 2000 presentation slide. The video clip I recorded lasts 4
minutes. I stored it to my hard disk as a mpg (234 MB!) and can play it
without problems using e.g. Media Player. But when I try to embed it
using the Powerpoint Menu, it won´t run at all. Then, I tried to do it
using Windows Media Player 9 via the Control Toolbox - now, it gives me
the SOUND, but NO pictures!
What could I try to fix the problem?
Regards, Borries
