I am looking at purchasing a camcorder that produces MPEG4 video. Are you
able to upload MPEG4 files to a web site using FrontPage2003? Are all
computers able to play MPEG4 video. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Bobby,
Any file format can be uploaded to a website. The
question more is if the users can view it with what they
have. Usually the answer is yes.
I personally use Windows Media Encoder for video, as it will
pull the video from my camcorder via 1394 (aka Firewire) and
compress it or I can oull live video and stream it. You can
also embed Windows Media Player on a webpage to pull the
video, and configure it to play whatever file/stream you so
desire. You may want to throw out some questions to the
microsoft,punlic.windowsmedia.encoder NG, as they can be
quite helpful. It is not as populated as this list- so
don't be surprised if its a few days before you get a
response.
