Video problem in Powerpoint using XP

Hello

Got a problem playing video files using Powerpoint
operated through Windows XP.

The video format is MPEG. File size averages 2 mebaytes.

Problem is that when you try to run the video in
Powerpoint, just get a black screen or the video freezes.

When the videos are played through Powerpoint using
Windows 2000, they work fine.

Any suggestions?
