video quality ?

H

HAAK

I am using FP 2002 and trying to post some links to
videos. I have done this successfully, but I think the
video is too high quality and the downloads are too slow.

What is the best video setting (good quality but faster
downloads) in your experiences?

Thank you!

Video settings have nothing to with download speed. That is purely
determined by file size.

You have to have compressed video. I use AdobePro as editing software. It has a compression feature where you export the timeline, then select the "viewer", say dial up 56K or cable modem. The file is compressed and exported to a file. You also have to select what viewer your visitor will use. Windows Media Player for example. You can see examples at www.OceanDigitalProductions.com and click on the "commercials" page or "MD Lottery" page.
