video sizing

When I project a video in a powerpoint presentation it always shows full
screen even though that is not how I have sized it in powerpoint 2002 nor
how it looks on my computer.
Are there any software settings that I can change to prevent this from
occuring?

Thanks,
Frank

There is an option in PowerPoint to say "zoom to full screen" under Movie
Options. But this setting travels with the presentation. If it is occuring
on one certain machine, it is a setting with the graphics card - generally
called "theater mode." You will have to poke around the advanced settings of
the graphics card to turn off (where it is, what it is called, how to
activate varies based on manufacturer and version of their driver running).

Hi,

There is a setting on the animation task pane (when you double click it) for
playing the video. One option is to play full screen. Is this turned off?

Note that the zoom to full screen is only in PPT 2003 (not XP) so dont spend
too much time looking. This does mean though that you can set a video to play
full screen in 2003 and it will work but not play full screen in 2002 nor can
you see the full screen command!
