View Assignment Notes submitted during progress reporting in TasksView of PWA?

After progress reporting is submitted and the manager accepts the
updates and re-publishes the plan, any progress reporting notes
submitted by resources show up in the project plan at the task level.
Is there a way to make those show up in PWA?

I added "Notes" to the a Task View but it only shows the name e.g,.
[Andy Novak...] like this with no way to actually view the notes.

Can you look at the notes in the Assignment View of PWA or is Project
Pro strictly needed to view?

Thanks,
Andy Novak

Hi Andy,

task notes show up in the "My task" view as an icon and within the task
details view.

I believe you can add notes to the project details view, but I wouldnt
recommend it since it only shows one long line of text. ( not 100% sure, but
I believe I did this a long time ago).

Also be aware that the notes cannot be reported agains in the Reporting DB
of Project Server.

Hope this helps

I just had the same question as Andy, and it doesn't matter that the
notes shows in a long line, only if it could shows notes that reported
by the reporter in the "project detail" view. Is there any way to do
that?

Hi Chenli,

Yes you can add the notes column to Project Details in PWA and it will show
the notes.
Hope this helps
