View blank page in Normal mode but not in Print layout mode

Using office 2003 on winxp pro sp2 has anyone encountered this issue whereby
word2003 can only view documents in "Print Layout mode" but when change to
"Normal view" the documents becomes a blank page

Hi! i've done the instructions as posted by you but still no helps the doc
only has pics copied from ppt and text box

What Stefan was trying to tell you was that text boxes and pictures in the
drawing layer ("wrapped") cannot be viewed in Normal view, period.

The text is seen it is just the pictures pasted from clipboard viewer that
you see only the box and not the contents.The rest of the document is seen in
all modes.
