view comments in cell

If I slide with the cursor over a group of merged cells in
an Excel spreadsheet, the comments of that cells are shown
at the right hand side of the cell....but if this group of
cells is along the edge of the display, my comments won't
be shown because it's the end of the display.
How can I make them show (left hand side of cell ?) on the
display without scrolling the sheet ? Is there an option
in Excel or should I use a Visual Basic macro ?

There is a sort of work-around to this.

With your column containing Comments in view, select View>Comments. All
Comments will show.

Select each and you can drag the box to left of cell where it will stay.

View>Comments again and will hide. Unfortunately, if clicked on the cell the
comment will default to right-side again but, if you View>Comments the box(es)
will go back to where you dragged it(them).

If you have many comments close together this method will overlap them and
render them useless for viewing.
