View flags in folders

In Entourage 2004, flags appeared next to a folder that contained any flagged messages. This doesn't seem to be the case with Entourage 2008. Is there a way to enable it?

I too would like to enable this. Certainly someone must know if it is possible or not?

Thanks in advance.

ISIT?

Agreed - this is infuriating

What is the point of flagging an email if you have to search for it within folders?

Please advise

What version Mac OS X are you running?

What version Microsoft Entourage are you using? Including update if any. How
to find version info:

Under View in the Menu bar, you can select Flagged only for a folder.

You can create a custom Mail view to show all flagged items.

Diane, I think you're misunderstanding our question. The initial question clearly states that we're using Entourage 08, and wondering about the disappearance of a feature found in Entourage 04.

In Entourage 04, flags were visible in the collection of folders that appears on the left side of the main window to indicate that the folder contains flagged messages. Entourage 08 does not support this.

The "To Do List" shows flagged items, but no preview pane. This requires opening a new window to read the flagged messages.

We liked being able to see the flags in the collection of folders.

Understand. I don't like the new way to flag either. I accidentally flag
messages all the time.

In 3 pane view you can see the messages
