I have word 2003 doc that is in Japanese but only displays blocks.(?)
I added the language via help but it is only blocks still.
If I do web page preview, it displays properly and not blocks.
Is a missing font teh problem?

If you're using Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server, the problem is likely that
you have not installed "support" for East Asian scripts, which includes the
fonts you need to see Japanese text.

1. Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Regional Settings -> Languages (Tab)
2. Check the box labelled "Install files for East Asian languages"
3. Click OK. You might have to put your Windows CD in the drive.
