When I customised the timesheet to include a field(combo
box) by using Customise-> Published fields from the
project plan & let user change field. It is viewed in the
timesheet but not as a combo box only a text box. Is it
possible to have the combo box as a value list in the
timesheet as I want to limit the data being entered into
this field by user choosing the option?
Any ideas would be appreciated?

If you are using Project Server 2002, your value list in the custom field
will not show up in the View My Tasks page in PWA. The custom field will
simply display in PWA as a text box and your team members will have to type
a value in the field. I am not aware of any way to restrict what they can
type in this field. On the other hand, if you are using Project Server
2003, the value list will be accessible to your team members on the View My
Tasks page in PWA, which would allow you to limit the data entered into this
field. Hope this helps.
