View Notes in Project web accees

Bahram

In Microsoft Office Project 2007 professional / desktop we have some notes
attached for the milestones and tasks.
We have noticed that after publish the project to the server the notes are
no longer available to view on My task or Project center, but if we open the
project with Microsoft Office Project 2007 professional (desktop version) we
can view the attachment. Wondering if there is any way to get access to the
notes on PWA site (either My task or project center view) .
Please advice.

Hi Baharam,

the first thing that springs to my mind is that you may not have pubslised
the project? Can you please repbulish the project and let me know if the
issue has been resolved
Thanks

Hey Marc,

Thanks for your post.
We found the problem, and the problwm was because we not suppose to add the
notes to the milestones and we have to attach the notes to the task to be
able to see it on My task view on PWA. I think its because we can not assign
a milestones to a resources and we have to assign a task (instead on
milestones) to our resources. If it is not a true statement please let me
know.
Thanks

In Project Server 2007, you CAN assign a resource to a Milestone task, and
the resource CAN report progress on the Milestone selecting either the Done
or Not Done option in the Progress field. Hope this helps.
