view of contact groups

Hi - is there any way when viewing contacts, to show a list of groups?

This used to be shown in the left hand pane of Outlook Express but I can't
see how to get that view - using both 2007 and 2010beta of Outlook

you can view the names of your contact groups (distribution lists in
outlook) but you need to open each to see the members.

They come up in the address book automatically and will be listed in with
the contacts. Distribution groups are bolded.

What folder are they in? Is that folder enabled as an address book?

Diane - sorry for the delay in replying - been away for a while - but
eventually realised I was misunderstanding the way Outlook works. Problem
has gone away. Thanks for the replies.
