Is there a way to remove from view the bar that has tabs for Sheets, Charts, SmartArt Graphics and WordArt near the top of the worksheet?

I prefer to have no toolbar except formatting and right now I could use the extra space that those top tabs are taking.

One of those very-minor-but-annoying-me issues. ;-}

Sorry, the Elements Gallery buttons are a permanent fixture. Collapsing the
toolbars & the Elements Gallery itself provides as much screen real estate
as you can reclaim. Use Help> Send Feedback on the matter to cast your vote
for the option in Office Next.

Again, CyberTaz, not the answer I wanted to hear. Please see my other reply -- I still like the sound of "Yes, there is a way." ;-}}}

On my way to offer that feedback about collapsing the Elements Gallery buttons. No problem on my 24" desktop but very annoying using a 15" laptop with old lady eyes.

Thanks so much for answering both of my questions. Your time and expertise are appreciated.
