View Resource Assignments View in PWA no longer works

This stopped working a couple of days ago. When I go to add a resource and
then click Apply, I am routed to my home page rather than to the View
Resource Assignments view.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix?

Dear Michelle,

Has anything major changed on the server, Service Pack been applied for
instance?

I have seen this before and resolved it but I am not sure what the solution
was I will look into it and post additional information if I find some.

Any input would be a big help. I'll check with my IT staff to see if they
made any changes to the server last week.

We have not made any changes. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? It
seems like something is wrong with the Apply button in the view, as soon as
you add resources and click Apply, you are routed to the home page. If you
just go to the view without selecting resources (rendering the view useless)
you are not redirected to the Home page.

This boggles my mind a bit; but here is the bug that caused this. I added
the field "Lead name" to the Assignments view so that the other Project
Manager I worked with could check to make sure that she was the lead for the
tasks that correspond to the projects she owns.

This field was an option (that shouldn't be an option) to add to the view;
but it actually breaks the view when you add it!
