View-->Tables-->More Tables: task related views

View --> Tables --> More Tables:

While working with a published project on Project Server, resource tables
(cost, usage, etc.) can be applied but Task tables (cost, schedule, earned
value, etc.) cannot be applied. The “Apply†button is grayed out. I was able
to work with these table when the project was local (.mpp).

I have admin priviledges, so I don't understand why I can't generate task
related table views such as earned value, etc.

Apply any Task view, such as the Gantt Chart view, and then the software
will allow you to select and apply only Task tables. Apply any Resource
view, such as the Resource Sheet, and then the software will allow you to
select and apply only Resource tables. Hope this helps.
