ViewDrop Service Running but "No Data in this View" Messages

Hi Everyone,

I am running MS Project Server 2003 (not running SP-1).

Things had worked fine until today but suddenly, PWA views no longer have
data to display.

I have reviewed the KB article 810596 and looked at all actions including
re-starting the viewdrop service but no luck. There are no files in the
viewdrop folder queued up to process. I have lost all my Project and
Resource Data.

I have not yet rebooted the entire Production server but am thinking of
doing that next.

I would prefer NOT to restore the database from backup and am hoping that
some silly thing is the reason why this is happening.

Any ideas ?

Found Fix!, but no reason for original occurance of problem.

I re-saved the Username in Manage users and groups and now my views populate.

Not sure why a user would suddenly not be able to see their projects but a
refresh of that user seems to have fixed it.
