viewer can not open flash entry page

Dick

I built a flash opening page for our church web site, it works fine on my
computer and others. The church's computer can not open the web site at all
since I installed the new page, yet they can see other flash movies I have
placed on other pages in the past. I hope I am making this clear...what's
going on? Thanks.

I see both Flash animations working in http://www.fumcwl.org/olddefault.htm
And your splash page (flash only) redirects me so it must be working there too

| Thanks Tom, it is www.fumcwl.org

Yes, the problem is that for some reason they can't even open the web site
from the Church's computers in their office if I have it set up as it now is.
If I make the default page the original page (now named 'olddefault.htm') it
works again on their computer????

R

Rob Giordano \(Crash\)

I can't see any effect of the new homepage with the Flash, is the only
reason you're using flash there to redirect? Nothing changes, nothing
moves...nuthing happening, then it redir's. Why use Flash there then? Just
do a redir.

Yep, it isn't finished yet, just trying to see if I can get every thing to
work. But I can not understand why the site won't even come up on the
Church's computer with the addition of the flash intro page, anyone have any
ideas?

You've said that "the page won't come up", but what exactly happens when
they point the browser to your URL?

Have you asked them to (1) clear the browser cache, (2) close and re-start
the browser?

Good point, it must be something like that. Thanks for helping.
