Viewing an RTF message in RTF format

Sathyaish

Hi,

If I have a message composed as an RTF, when I send it accross to
myself, the viewer inside MS Outlook always views the message in plain
text format screwing up whatever formatting was applied to it earlier
in the RTF editor.

Is there a way to configure Outlook preview pane to always render RTF
messages in the native format it was composed in?

Thanks!

You first: what version of Outlook? What type of account?

An Internet mail (smtp) account on LAN. Outlook version is 2000.

This is a stumper. Are you sending it from within Outlook or from within
one of the other Office programs, like Word? If so, see this:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=245116 .

Is your own address in your Contacts folder and you're sending it to
yourself by adding that contact to the To line from the Address Book? If
so, open your contact record and double-click the E-mail address field.
Examine the Internet Format drop-down and make sure it says to let Outlook
decide on the format.

If you're using PGP to sign your messages, that might convert them to Plain
Text.
