viewing cells on a long table

I'm have an extremely long table and I would like to be able to view several
columns on the left while scrolling through the rest of them. I know it can
be done, but how?

Select the first cell in row 1 that you want to scroll (cells to the left
will remain visible), and choose Freeze from the Window menu.
