Viewing Certificates -- Digitally Signing Messages

I've done a little more research since my last post and
what my problem is in the main Outlook window I go to
Toos/Options/Security. I click Settings and under
Certificates and Algorithms if I click Choose to choose
the certificate I want to use there's nothing there to
choose from. Can anyone help me with this? How do I get
the certificates I have in Internet Explorer 6.0 to show
up in Outlook? I have Outlook 2002.
