Viewing Comments without printing them

Caroline

Hi All,

I have a problem with the new Reviewing system in Word
2002. Our clients often use Comments as electronic post-it
notes to add information about filing a document.
The new Balloons format is fine, but how can we leave the
Balloons viewable, but not have them print when printing
the document?

At the moment, every time they want to print they have to
first turn off the balloons, or change the print option to
Document instead of Document with Markup. Obviously, doing
this every time is just adding extra mouseclicks and time.
Is there a way around it?

Cheers,
Caroline.

Hi Caroline,

No way around what you describe, except to have a macro that
would perform the actions the user is currently having to do
(IOW, try recording it in a macro, then use that when
printing)
