Viewing in separate windows

How can I open multiple excel files and view them all at once? Currently I
can only view them one at a time in the same window.

It's under window>arrange, then select how you want to arrange all open
workbooks

Open all your files then click Window in the menu and select Arrange...

hope this helps.

Perhaps you were thinking of Tools>Options>View "Windows in Taskbar"?

Open the first worksheet from the start menu, and then open the second again
from the start menu again, follow the same procedure for each worksheet after
that.

To work with the same worksheet in separate windows, open the first
worksheet, go to the ‘Tools menu and select the “Share workbookâ€, in the Edit
tab place a check in the box “Allow changes by more than one user at the same
time.

This also allows workbook merging. Then open another Excel window from the
Start menu, and use the File > Open for another instance of the same
worksheet.

Read and understand the share rules, and options in the advanced tab.

Be careful when saving the workbooks.

Open the first file as normal. Then open a new excel window as if you're
going to create a new workbook, on this blank workbook, use the "Open" option
from the "File" menu (or from the Microsoft ribbon in 2007 version) to open
the other file. Works with 2007 version.
