When I click "OPEN" in Word I would like the drop down window to show me the
complete path (location) of the file next to the files's name, similar to how

u can show the button "properties" which will show u the complete path by
clicking "Tools" --> "Customize" --> "Commands" then "File" and drag the
Properties button to your layout .
