I have emails saved in subfolders that I have created in my Hotmail account (I
have never used an email program such as Entourage before). However, the only
emails I can view in Entourage are those saved in my inbox. Many of the
messages in subfolders are emails from newsletters, school, etc. that I have
applied rules to in Hotmail. How can I import these other folders from
Hotmail into Entourage?

This is difficult to do now that Hotmail is not available as Webmail.

You can use your web browser and move each folder¹s messages to the Inbox
and download into Entourage. Move from the Inbox in Entourage to a new
subfolder that you create. Of course, any new mail coming in will be mixed
with these so you¹ll need to identity those from the older mails. You could
sort by Sent to separate.

Otherwise, I suggest creating a Gmail IMAP account and forward your Hotmail
to Gmail. This will get the mail in those subfolders. IMAP will download
them to your Entourage Identity. This gives you an account more like the old
Hotmail webmail accounts.
