viewing messages without them being marked as read

With outlook express, I used to be able to look at a message for 10-15
seconds and click back off of it without being marked as read. Now with
office outlook, as soon as you highlight them, they are marked as read. Is
there something I can change to change this? Thank you

If you were to use a real newsreader instead of the web interface to the
newsgroups, you wouldn't have the problem.
