viewing minimised applications on taskbar

I am running XP with multiple users on the same PC. I am the administrator.
I can minimise open applications to the taskbar and view them there when I am
logged on but one other user cannot view mimimised applications. They just
seem to slip off somewhere in the background but can be recalled by ALT+tab.
Any fix?

It could be they are opening off the Desktop. Here are a few things to try
to get it back:

- Open another window, right-click an empty area of the Taskbar and select
"Cascade"

If that doesn't work then:

- Right-click the task and click "Restore" if necessary
- Right-click again and select "Move"
- Use one of the arrow keys on the keyboard to "lock in" the move command
- Use your mouse and see if you can move it back to the Desktop
