Why is it that when I have 3 or more excell spreadsheets open they are not
all listed on my task bar the only way I can get to them is by going to the
window button and selecting the one I want to see, I want to be able to ALT
TAB between them and they are not listing them for me in the task bar only
the current one I have open?

Are you using XP? Sounds like that feature of XP which groups several
windows of one application into one spot on the task bar. There may be a way
to shut this off in taskbar properties. Click on the task bar and select
properties.

Maybe there's one Excel window with several workbooks open in it.

These two different ways might help get separate windows for different
excel documents.

#1. From the Windows "Start" menu, use the cascaded menu to open Excel.
Once Excel is running, use "File >> Open" to open an Excel file. Repeat the
steps for each file.

#2. Point to an Excel file on the desktop or in a folder. With the right
mouse button, click "Send To >> Excel". Repeat the steps for each file.

For #2, you might not see "Excel" in the "Send To" menu at first. To add it
there, put a shortcut to the Excel program into the folder
C:\Windows\SendTo\

By the way, if you have two files of the same name in different folders,
this allows you to have both open at the same time.

(I have Windows 98.)
