Viewing newsgroup threads

I'm trying to set up my Entourage newsgroup preferences so that I can
pick the headers of threads I'm involved posting into and have those
threads appear at the top of the list each time I click open a group so
that I don't have to go find those threads by scrolling. Below the
threads I'm involved with would be the new posting in all threads in a
descending order. Is this possible?
This would be done in OE on a PC by simply selecting the glasses on a
thread as "watched" with a descending order also selected.
In OE this brings up your "watched threads in color as well. I realize
this might not be possible, but is the rest of my desired setup possible
in Entourage (or in another MAC newsreader if necessary?)
Thanks much
Dudley

Don't know of one that does this, but the best newsreader for Mac is the
free MT Newswatcher. You can view 1000 threads at a time in plain text,
which means you can scroll an entire group in seconds. Check it out.

While MT-NewsWatcher certainly has more options and flexibility than
most other Mac news readers, it's a bit complex and not very
user-friendly. I like Unison better:

Unison is simple and more Mac-like, IMO.
