New yo Outlook 2000

The gentleman that posted the question for help in viewing attachments using
Outlook did not really get his question answered. There must be a way for
Outlook to be configured to allow a choice whether to view attachments or not.
Does anyone know how?.
My version of Outlook is MS Outlook 2000.

Who are you refering to?

Outlook is not able to display picture attachments in-line. To view pictures
in-line they must be inserted in-line by Insert-> Picture. When they are
inserted by Insert-> File Outlook will show it as attachment.
